KYN28A-12, widely known as Indoor Metal Armored Removable Switchgear, is a commonly used high-voltage switchgear in China. It operates within a rated voltage range of 3.6kV to 12kV. What makes it unique is the central placement of the vacuum circuit breaker within the front cabinet of the switchgear. This design optimizes the lower space, enabling additional expansions or serving as a cable room.

Constructed in compliance with the GB3906 and IEC298 standards for armored metal-enclosed switchgear, the cabinet is made from high-quality cold-rolled steel and aluminum deposited zinc plate. Precision CNC machining, high-precision laser cutting, and special molds ensure a double-sided process forming. The components are securely connected using high-strength bolts, nuts, rivet nuts, and steel rivets. The cabinet effectively separates the low-pressure chamber, circuit breaker chamber, bus room, and cable room units, each equipped with a separate pressure relief channel to ensure excellent relief and ventilation. The indoor cable set comprises a 10*60mm main ground bus.
